The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Karja P.S. Case No. 124/13 for the offences punishable under sections 376 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution story, in brief, is that one Sanju Kumari filed a petition of complaint in the court of Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, West Muzaffarpur, stating that while returning from her coaching class, the petitioner along with other accused persons tried to outrage her modesty.

No.18395 of 2015 (2) dt.11-06-2015 2 / 2 It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case, and the said fact is evident from the fact that the matter has been settled between the parties-vide Annexure-2 dated 14-8-2013. It has been further submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent, and he is in custody since 9-3-2015. On behalf of the State it has been submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner Shekhar Kumar be released on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Muzaffarpur.
