The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 341, 323, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The case in short is that the informant was subjected to torture and cruelty by the petitioner and her in-laws family members due to non-fulfilment of dowry demand of Rs.5 lac. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that the petitioner is the husband of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14464 of 2021(7) dt.01-07-2022 2/2 informant and the case has been compromised between the parties. Petitioner has got clean antecedent. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the aforesaid submissions as well as the fact that the case has been compromised between the parties, let the petitioner, above named in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SDJM, Siwan in connection with Andar P.S. Case No. 128 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. (Sunil Kumar Panwar, J) Brajesh Kumar/- U T
