ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 21-01-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State. The petitioner is in custody since 22.08.2019 in connection with Banka Barahat P.S. Case No.583 of 2019 registered for the offence under Sections 399 and 402 of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on the basis of some secret information that a dacoity was going to be committed in a busy market place where the petitioner was present, the police apprehended the petitioner without any rhyme or reason. It is further submitted that the petitioner is a student and is presently studying in Zoology Home Degree College, Dhaka.
Considering the aforementioned facts and

No.2663 of 2020(2) dt.21-01-2020 2/2 circumstances and that nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and that he was arrested on mere suspicion, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Banka, in connection with Banka Barahat P.S. Case No.583 of 2019.
