2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 323, 354, 420, 406, 467, 471, 498A, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. Allegation in the complaint is that the marriage was done by showing a false status of job of the petitioner and hence, an offence of cheating has also been committed. Petitioner is the husband of opposite party no.2.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegations levelled in the complaint are not correct and as a matter of fact, the complainant/opposite party no. 2 has not

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2383 of 2025(3) dt.13-08-2025 2/2 adjusted to the standards of the petitioner as the petitioner is not very well off, however, he is ready to keep the opposite party no.2 with full dignity and honour.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Bhojpur Complaint Case No. 642(C) of 2024, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C./482(2) of the B.N.S.S., and subject to the further condition that the petitioner shall cooperate in the investigation/trial.
