The petitioner seeks bail in a case under section 307 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act.

The informant named four persons and alleged that his daughter was shot which hit on her cheek. It is submitted that the informant did not make any specific allegation who fired the shot. During the course of investigation it has come from the statement of the mother of the victim that it was the petitioner who happens to be her maternal uncle who opened firing which hit on her head causing grievous injury.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18417 of 2015 (3) dt.03-07-2015 case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage in connection with Habibpur P.S. Case No. 13 of 2014 pending in the court of Shri Rajeev Kumar II, Judicial Magistrate, Bhagalpur. This application for bail is, accordingly, rejected. The petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after remaining in jail for one year.
