Case No. 34 of 2010 registered for the offences under Sections 498-A, 323, 307, 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

It has jointly been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for respondent no.8 that the matter has been settled between the parties and now there is no

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.3 of 2019(2) dt.10-04-2023 2/2 dispute between them.

Considering the aforesaid submission of the parties and also considering the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Jaswant Singh vs. State of Punjab reported in 2021 SCC onLine SC 1007, this application is allowed. Accordingly, the F.I.R. vide Sirdala P.S. Case No. 34 of 2010 registered for the offences under Sections 498-A, 323, 307, 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act and all consequential proceedings arising out of the aforesaid F.I.R. are hereby quashed in the interest of justice.
