JUSTICE BIRENDRA KUMAR ORAL ORDER 15-03-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 7/13(2)/13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

Petitioner was Sub-Inspector of Police.

Allegation is that in spite of receipt of the order of the Court for release of the vehicle the petitioner could release the vehicle only after getting bribe of Rs.15,000/-. The petitioner is in custody since 09.09.2016.

Considering the nature of allegation and the period already undergone by the petitioner, let petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.53602 of 2016 (3) dt.15-03-2017 2/2 (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Vigilance, Trap, Patna/Successor Court, in connection with Vigilance Case No. 88 of 2016.
