The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 147 of 2021 instituted for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 04.09.2021, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case and has antecedent of one case. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation is of recovery of 54 bottles of liquor from the cowshed of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was not arrested from the spot and the cowshed is an

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case and he was not arrested from the spot, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J.-II-cum-Special Judge (Excise), Samastipur in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 147 of 2021.
