It is submitted that some delay has taken place in pursuing the request of the petitioner for grant of loan because of the intervening circumstances rising to merger of the Gramin Bank. Learned counsel submits that an appropriate decision in accordance with the scheme and the guidelines relevant to the request of the petitioner, shall be taken by the competent authority within a period of 60 days from the date of

In view of the submissions made on behalf of the Bank, this writ application is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority of the Bank to consider and take an appropriate decision on the request of the petitioner within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
