The petitioner seeks bail in Karakat P.S. Case No. 175 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 307 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Later on, Section 304(B) of the Indian Penal Code was added.

Khushbu Khatoon is the informant and she made very specific allegation that she solemnized love marriage with the petitioner. On 09.09.2014, her mother-in-law, father-in-law and sister-in-law poured kerosene oil on her body and set her ablaze, her husband came and put off the fire. Later on, it appears that the victim succumbed to the burn injuries.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7343 of 2015 (2) dt.20-04-2015 2/2 informant who is the deceased of the case has not made any allegation either of demand of dowry and torture against the husband rather she has stated that while she was burning, her husband came and put off fire.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bikramganj, Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with Karakat P.S. Case No. 175 of 2014.
