SINHA ORAL ORDER 09-06-2015 From the order dated 30.1.2015 passed by the Juvenile Justice Board and the order dated 27.2.2015 of the District and Sessions Judge it is evident that the petitioner is a juvenile, still he has been remanded to jail custody.

Let the petitioner (Chandan Kumar @ Chandan Singh @ Putuwa) be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.5,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Juvenile Justice Board, Begusarai in connection with Cheria Bariarpur P.S. Case No.49 of 2014 ( G.R. No.1309 of 2014).

Let a report be called for from the court below as to why a juvenile was remanded to jail custody.

In this connection, the Joint Registrar, Establishment, who is the Secretary to the Juvenile Committee of the High Court, shall take appropriate steps in the matter.
