This is a petition for grant of anticipatory for offence under Sections 498A, 494, 307, 304, 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The petitioners are parents of the husband of Soni Devi, the sister of the informant. There is general and omni bus allegation of demand of dowry and torture for the same. It appears that after investigation the police submitted charge sheet against the husband, Amlesh Kumar, and co-accused under Section 494 of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioners were not sent up for trial. However, cognizance has been taken against the petitioners. Considering the aforesaid fact, the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender, within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.

10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Sheikhpura Mahila P.S. Case No. 19 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, or successor Court, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
