The MJC No. 4240 of 2018 has been preferred for compliance of order dated 16.11.2017 passed in CWJC No. 7998 of 2016.

A show cause has been filed on behalf of opposite party no. 2, the Director, Secondary Education, Education Department, Bihar, Patna annexing the letter no. 1061 dated 13.07.2023 passed by the District Education Officer, Muzaffarpur by which he has been informed that earlier the payment could not be made despite the issuance of authority letter in 2021 and accordingly, the same has been done alongwith statutory interest to the tune of Rs. 1,21,344/-. The

Patna High Court MJC No.4240 of 2018(4) dt.08-08-2023 2/2 calculation chart are also part of the record. It is the case of the petitioner that the statutory interest has not completely been cleared.

If the petitioner still has any grievance, she can meet the District Education Officer, Muzaffarpur alongwith the present order within two weeks from today, who shall be duty bound to entertain her and provide her the calculation chart to her satisfaction.

The District Education Officer, Muzaffarpur shall see to it that whether the claim of the petitioner that she has not been paid the full statutory interest is correct or not and accordingly, do the needful.

The MJC No. 4240 of 2018 stands disposed of with the aforesaid observations.
