The petitioner seeks bail in Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 462 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 447, 452, 435, 120(B), 384, 379 and 436 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 17 of the C.L.A. Act and Section 13 of the G.A.P. Act.

Allegation is that 25 - 30 maoists came to the brick kiln and set ablaze the tractor.

It is submitted that the police arrested the petitioner and took his confessional statement.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that except the confessional statement the police did not collect any tangible evidence to show the involvement of the petitioner and the
