The petitioner is in custody in connection with Special Case No. 434 of 2019 arising out of P.R. No. 47 of 2019 registered for the offences under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

In the instant case there is recovery of 4500 litres of liquor from a truck which was apprehended.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. The petitioner is in custody since 13.12.2019.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has remained

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing his personal bond to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Excise Act, Kishanganj in connection with Special Case No. 434 of 2019 arising out of P.R. No. 47 of 2019 on account of the circumstances prevailing due to lockdown in the wake of Covid19 pandemic, subject to the condition that in future if he is found involved in similar case, his bail bond shall be cancelled.
