The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Chiraiya P.S. Case No. 479 of 2019 for the offence punishable under Section 386 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation is regarding unknown miscreants having thrown a letter in the house of the informant wherein a demand of extortion money amounting to Rs. 5 lacs was made and in the event of non-fulfillment of the same, it was stated in the said letter that the informant would be kidnapped and killed. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case, is having a clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 2.10.2019 as also his name transpired upon confessional

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, coupled with the fact that the petitioner is having a clean antecedent, I deem it fit and proper to direct for release of the petitioner on regular bail.

Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sikrahana at Dhaka, East Champaran in connection with Chiraiya P.S. Case No. 479 of 2019.
