This is an application for grant of regular bail filed on behalf of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody in connection with Baikunthpur PS Case No. 290 of 2018 for the alleged offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He is in custody in connection with seizure of total 144.720 ml. of English wine. Learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and he has no concern with liquor in question. Petitioner is in custody since 19.11.2018.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of 2nd Addl. Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Gopalganj, in connection with Baikunthpur PS Case No. 290 of 2018.
