2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, this petitioner is alleged to have attempted to obtain death claim insurance benefits of the husband of co-accused Rita Devi on the basis of forged and fabricated certificates.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. From perusal of the F.I.R., it is apparent that the 'so-called' forged claim was repudiated by the company and as such, no loss has been caused to the company in question. 5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.

6. Considering the backdrop of the case, clean antecedent and other facts and circumstances of the case, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Patna in connection with Gandhi Maidan P. S. Case No. 243 of 2017, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
