Petitioner seeks bail in Jandaha P.S.Case No.199 of 2014 registered under Sections 304B, 34 IPC.

The informant alleged that his daughter informed him that her husband and other in-laws were torturing her. On the next day, the informant received a call from other persons who inform him that his daughter was killed.

It is submitted that there is no evidence to show that the petitioner assaulted his wife. No complaint was ever made about demand of dowry and torture. The deceased gave birth to a child.

It appears that the deceased herself informed her father that her husband assaulted her and on the next day, her dead body was found. From the Post Mortem Report, it appears that there was abrasion and ligature mark around the neck. The doctor has opined hat she died on account of asphyxia. Considering the facts, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and accordingly, the same is rejected.
