Mr.Manish Kumar (GP4) ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 21-01-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Following is the relief, sought for by the petitioner in the present writ application:

"For directing the respondents-authorities especially the District Magistrate, Patna (respondent No. 2) to take a final decision on the application filed by the petitioner for grant/add of one N.P. Bore Rifle in original licence bearing No. 105/2005 of Pandarak P.S. to direct the District Magistrate (respondent No. 2) to grant/add N.P. Bore Rifle in original arms licence and other relief or reliefs to which the petitioner is found entitled during the course of hearing of the writ application".

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner, that

Patna High Court CWJC No.1285 of 2019(2) dt.21-01-2019 2/2 vide Annexure-1 to the writ application, a representation was filed before the District Magistrate, Patna (respondent No. 2) for redressal of grievance of the petitioner and the said representation is pending till date. On behalf of the petitioner, it is further contended that as per schedule-V Serial 17, the representation of the petitioner is to be disposed of within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of the said representation.

The District Magistrate, Patna (respondent No. 2) is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner at the earliest, preferably, within a period of two months from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, this writ application stands disposed of.
