In this case, the petitioner is claiming that a high power electric overhead line is being installed over the ancestral residential house of the petitioner and because of such high electricity current there is likelihood to endanger the life of the petitioner and his family members.

Patna High Court CWJC No.2293 of 2017 dt.21-04-2017 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed an application before the Executive Engineer, Electricity Transmission Division, Motihari.

In such view of the matter, let the Executive Engineer, Electricity Transmission Division, Motihari examine the case of the petitioner in terms of the judgment passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of The Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. vs. Century Textile and Industries Ltd. and Ors., reported in 2017(2) PLJR page 152 (S.C.) and act in accordance with law.

For convenience, the petitioner is directed to file an application, attaching the order of this Court, before the Executive Engineer, Electricity Transmission Division, Motihari, who will be obliged to dispose of the same within a period of four weeks from the date of filing of such application.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ application is disposed of.
