The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Jehanabad P. S. Case No. 618 of 2018 dated 04.08.2018 instituted for the offences under Section 304(B) of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that though he is an ambulance driver and had taken the deceased to hospital but by mistake he has been referred to as the husband of the deceased in the impugned order. However, in the later part of the order impugned, it has been clarified that his name has transpired in the supervision note
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3336 of 2019(2) dt.24-01-2019 2/2 of the superior police officer as having made attempts to suppress the evidence which was in the knowledge of the petitioner.
Considering the nature of material which has transpired during the course of investigation against the petitioner and taking into account the other attendant facts, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad in connection with Jehanabad P. S. Case No. 618 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
