Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code. The robbery was committed in the house of the informant by unknown persons. The name of the petitioner surfaced during confessional statement of co-accused, Raja Kumar.

Similarly situated co-accused, Sandeep Kumar has already been allowed bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court, vide Criminal Miscellaneous No.6623 of 2019. Petitioner is in custody since 22.09.2018. Investigation of the case is already complete.

No.5778 of 2019(3) dt.22-04-2019 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned court below where the case is pending in connection with East Colony Police Station Case No.70 of 2018, subject to condition that both the bailors shall be resident of within the territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and the petitioner shall fully co-operate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
