This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Some unknown criminals robbed the informant while on the way. After ten days of the occurrence the petitioner was arrested by the police and till arrest there was no material against the petitioner and on arrest the driving licence and voter identity card of the informant was found from the pocket of the petitioner. Submission is that this is a case of police atrocities only on the basis of police record. The petitioner was apprehended without any material and it is highly unbelievable that such incriminating articles would be carried by the petitioner to get him implicated in the criminal case. The petitioner is in custody since 31.05.2016.

Considering the aforesaid fact, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Madhepura P.S. Case No. 272 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhepura, or successor Court.
