The petitioner is assailing an order dated 17.01.2011 passed by the District Magistrate, Gopalganj, whereby petitioner's appeal was dismissed for non-prosecution. The appeal was preferred against an order cancelling the petitioner's license to run fair price shop.
Patna High Court CWJC No.5055 of 2021(2) dt.24-01-2022 2/2 This writ application has been filed nearly ten years after passing of the impugned order. There is no explanation justifying such delay in the pleadings of the writ application.
This application, therefore, deserves to be dismissed on the ground of delay and laches and is accordingly dismissed.
