This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Raniganj Police Station Case No. 327 of 2018, disclosing offences under Sections 341/323/379/354B/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the case of the prosecution, the petitioners assaulted the informant and they snatched her locket, made of silver.

Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners has submitted that it is because of some prtty dispute between the parties that the informant and the accused persons

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3696 of 2019(2) dt.25-01-2019 2/2 are not in good terms and the case has been registered just to wreak vengeance. All the three petitioners are full brothers. Considering the nature of allegation made against the petitioners, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the Court below within four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria, in connection with Raniganj Police Station Case No. 327 of 2018, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. This is subject to the condition that the petitioners shall present themselves before the police/Court, as the case may be, as and when required and in the event of failure on their part to appear before the Court on two consecutive occasions, their bail bonds shall be liable to be cancelled.
