The petitioner seeks bail in Sikarpur P.S. Case No. 414 of 2014, corresponding to Trial No. 5 of 2015, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20, 22, 23, 24, 27 'A' and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 08.05.2015 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 9908 of 2015. The petitioner again moved for grant of bail as the trial has not yet been concluded. A report was called for from the 3rd Additional Sessions Judge, Bettiah, West Champaran who reported that all the witnesses have already been examined and the trial is likely to be concluded very soon.

No.13842 of 2016 (3) dt.07-09-2016 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that commercial quantity of Charas and 3 kg of Ganja were recovered from the possession of the petitioner and the trial is at its fag end, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on bail in Sikarpur P.S. Case No. 414 of 2014, corresponding to Trial No. 5 of 2015, pending in the court of the 3rd Additional Sessions Judge, Bettiah, West Champaran.

Accordingly, the same is rejected.
