====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 19-02-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the State.
2. Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 103(1), 238, 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
3. As per prosecution case, daughter of the informant was married with co-accused Raj Kumar Das 15 years ago and after some time, all the F.I.R. named accused persons including these petitioners started torturing and harassing the daughter of informant for dowry. It is alleged that these petitioners along with other F.I.R. named accused persons killed the daughter of informant due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.
4. Petitioner No. 1 is step-son and petitioner No. 2 is
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5307 of 2025(2) dt.19-02-2025 2/2 step-daughter of the deceased.
5. It is submitted that there is general and omnibus allegation against these petitioners. Petitioners are separate in mess and property and they are not concerned with family affairs of the deceased. Moreover, thrust of accusation is against husband of the deceased who is already in custody. Petitioners have got clean antecedent.
6. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.

Considering the fact that husband of the deceased in already in custody, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioners in the event of their arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi in connection with Pupari P. S. Case No. 392 of 2024, subject to condition as laid down under Section Section 482(2) of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Navya/- U T
