The petitioner is languishing in custody since 17.01.2015 in case registered for the offences punishable under sections 7 and 13(2) read with section 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

The petitioner being the head clerk in the Consolidation Office Ramgarh in the district of Rohtas was trapped while accepting illegal gratification of Rs.20,000/- for giving permission to the complaint purchase land. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner being the head clerk was not authorized to grant any permission. Moreover, such permission is only

Considering that the investigation has already concluded, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Vigilance, Trap, Patna in connection with Vigilance P.S. Case No.3 of 2015.
