At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that though his PDS license bearing License No. 90 of 1991 was cancelled long back by an order dated 07.11.2012 passed by the Sub-Divisional Officer, Sadar, Darbhanga but thereafter he had approached the District Magistrate, Darbhanga to restore the license of his PDS shop but no order has been passed by the District Magistrate, Darbhanga, hence it is prayed that the District Magistrate, Darbhanga be directed to pass appropriate orders.

Patna High Court CWJC No.4468 of 2021(2) dt.08-12-2021 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, we dispose off the present petition with a direction to the District Magistrate, Darbhanga to pass a reasoned order, in accordance with law, upon the representation/appeal of the petitioner herein, if so filed and in case the same is pending consideration.
