The petitioner has filed the present writ application for the following relief:- "To issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ or writs, direction or directions, commanding upon the respondents to confirm the order of settlement of the land in question made in favour of the petitioner who is a retired Military person for which Parwana has been issued and direct the respondents to issue rent receipts for the year 2015-16 and onwards."

3. The petitioner claims himself to be the allottee of the land in question.

4. As per the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, his name was mutated in the revenue records.

5. In view of the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the pleadings made in the writ application, the petitioner may raise his grievance before the Collector, who shall dispose of the grievance of the petitioner within a period of six months from the date of its filing, in accordance with law.

6. The writ application stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction/observation.
