2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kalyanpur P.S. Case No. 70 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 338, 379, 307, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have assaulted the victim and has taken away Rs. 12,000/-. The petitioner is in jail since 29.10.2023.

4. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner without accepting the guilt of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is ready to compensate the informant by paying an amount of Rs. 15,000/- as medical assistance.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9801 of 2024(2) dt.20-02-2024 2/2 prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned J.M. 1st Class, Samstipur in connection with Kalyanpur P.S. Case No. 70 of 2023.

7. At the time of furnishing the bail bonds, the petitioner shall furnish a demand draft of Rs. 15,000/- prepared in the name of the informant. If the petitioner furnishes the demand draft of Rs. 15,000/-, the Court below shall accept the bail bonds of the petitioner and hand over the said demand draft to the informant.
