Patna High Court CWJC No.4816 of 2021 dt.05-07-2021 2/3 Petitioner has prayed for the following relief(s): I. For initiation of an inquiry by independent agency like Central Bureau of Investigation/Crime Investigation Department/Vigilance Department, with regards to allotment of tenders in favour of favourable contractors, contrary to the tender conditions and law made in this regard in the aforesaid works Department.

II. For further commanding and directing the appropriate agency to make scrutiny of Detailed project report (DPR) made for particular works in the aforesaid works Departments from previous three years, because, as per knowledge of the petitioner in the aforesaid works department DPR has been prepared without spot verification of the particular works and there are embezzlement of huge amount of public money.

III. For directing and commanding the competent authorities, to take appropriate action against erring persons, who found guilty in the aforesaid illegal act.

IV. For further directing and commanding to the concerned authority to produce entire details of expenditure related to works contract (Work wise) of previous three years.

V. For any other appropriate relief/reliefs to which the petitioner is found entitled in the facts and circumstances of the present case."

Dr. Anand Kumar, learned counsel for the respondents, invites our attention to the decision rendered by

Patna High Court CWJC No.4816 of 2021 dt.05-07-2021 3/3 this Court in C.W.J.C. No. 7073 of 2020, titled as M/s Indian Electrical Services Vs. the State of Bihar & Ors., disposed of on 14th of September, 2020.

In view of the same, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition. Permission granted.

The present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
