2. With the consent of the parties, this writ application is being decided at this stage itself.
3. In the present writ application, the petitioner has prayed for grant of following relief/s:
Patna High Court CWJC No.1279 of 2026(6) dt.24-07-2026 2/3 "(I).... To issue a Writ in nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents to pay Rs.
17,90,514/- (Rs. Seventeen Lakhs Ninety Thousand Five Hundred Fourteen) expeditiously along with applicable rate of interest.
(ii) To any other relief or reliefs to which the petitioner is entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case."

At the outset, referring to paragraphs-8 of the counter affidavit filed by the respondent no. 7 i.e. Executive Engineer, Building Division, Madhepura, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents have admitted the due amount vide letter no. 710 dated 22.05.2025 and letter no. 367 dated 04.05.2026, a request has been made to the District Magistrate, Madhepura, for payment of Rs. 3,60,812/-, 6,96,074/- and 7,33,628/-. Once the payment is received, the same will be paid to the petitioner. He further contends that in terms of statement made in paragraph-8 of the counter affidavit, the respondent no.7 i.e. Executive Engineer, Building Division, Madhepura, may be directed to pay the admitted amount as aforesaid to the petitioner within a period of three months time.
5. In such view of the matter and the categorical stand of the respondents made in paragraph-8 of the counter affidavit, this court deems it fit and appropriate to dispose of
Patna High Court CWJC No.1279 of 2026(6) dt.24-07-2026 3/3 this writ application with a direction to the respondent no.7 i.e Executive Engineer, Building Division, Madhepura, to pay the admissible dues of the petitioner within a period of three months from today.
6. Accordingly, with the aforesaid observation/direction, this writ application is disposed of.
7. All pending interlocutory application(s), if any, shall stands disposed of.
8. Needless to say that if the admissible dues of the petitioner shall not be paid within the stipulated period as aforesaid, the petitioner would be at liberty to file appropriate application in accordance with law.
