This application is filed for directing the respondents to remove the name of the petitioners from the 'Goonda List' which has wrongly been prepared without following the principle of natural justice and further direction to

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.326 of 2019(4) dt.10-04-2023 2/3 respondent no. 7 to give the character certificate to the petitioners whenever they approach him and to give the petitioners other relief or reliefs to which the petitioners are legally entitled.

The petitioners are the law abiding and peace loving persons of their village and have nothing to do with the day to day affairs of the Society but despite that the local police and the persons who are enemical towards them used to implicate their names in a false, fabricated and pretty nature of cases without any fault on their parts. The names of the petitioners figuring in two cases such as Madhepur P.S Case No. 37/2012 for the alleged offences under Sections 341, 323, 594/34 of the Indian Penal Code, Madhepur P.S Case No. 204/2013 for the alleged offences under Sections 341, 323, 406, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and in both cases compromise have been arrived at between the parties in the National Lok Adalat on 8/7/2017 and 10/2/2018 and awards have been prepared.

The petitioner can move the Superintendent of Police concerned for the relief which has been prayed for by the petitioner in this writ petition. If such an application is filed, it is for the Superintendent of Police to consider the same in

With the aforesaid observations and directions, this application is disposed of.
