The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Raghopur P.S. Case No. 74 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 354(A), 379 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, on the alleged date and time of occurrence this petitioner along with co-accused Vikash Sharma assaulted the sister of informant causing injury to her and also they also misbehaved with the mother and sister of informant. The accused persons also took away the ornament of the mother of informant.

It is submitted that there is case and counter case. FIR has been lodged after delay of three days without any plausible explanation. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4564 of 2023(2) dt.07-04-2023 2/2 Counsel for State however, vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that this petitioner along with coaccused assaulted the sister of informant as a result of which she sustained grievous injury.

Considering the facts aforesaid and nature of injury, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above-named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) vinita/- U T
