This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Tilauthu P.S. Case No.297 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under section 103(1) of the B.N.S., 2023. 3.

The petitioner is the husband of the deceased. He is said to have killed his wife. 4.

The petitioner is in custody since 15.10.2025.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the deceased had died due to her illness and no external injury has been found in the postmortem report of the deceased. He further submits that in the F.S.L. report nothing has come to show that the deceased was killed.

Considering the submissions of learned

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7697 of 2026(4) dt.14-05-2026 2/2 counsel for the petitioner and also his period of custody, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Rohtas / concerned Court below, in connection with Tilauthu P.S. Case No.297 of 2025, subject to the condition that he will cooperate in the trial and will appear personally or through his advocate on the dates fixed in the trial.

It is, however, clarified that the observations made herein are limited to the adjudication of the present bail application and shall not prejudice the case of the petitioner at any subsequent stage of the trial and this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
