The petitioner seeks bail in Begusarai Muffasil P.S. Case No. 82 of 2015, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 384 and 386 of the Indian Penal Code. The informant alleged that the petitioner and two other accused persons demanded extortion and one of the miscreants snatched Rs. 2300/- from his pocket. In the meantime, police came and on chase Surat Kumar, the petitioner, Subodh Kumar and Ajad Kumar Paswan were apprehended. From possession of the petitioner Rs. 2300/- was recovered.
It is submitted that some altercation took place between the petitioner and the driver and that is why this false case has been lodged. Other two accused persons namely Ajad Kumar
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.19919 of 2015 (2) dt.17-06-2015 2/2 Paswan and Subodh Kumar have already been enlarged on bail by the learned Additional Sessions Judge vide order passed in B.P. No. 470 of 2015 on 13.03.2015. The case of the petitioner stands on the same footing and the petitioner is in jail since 13.03.2015. Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in Begusarai Muffasil P.S.
