The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Siwaipatti P.S. Case No. 17 of 2018, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a), 30(d) and 38 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Irrespective of the fact that there is no direct evidence against the petitioner in the present case, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail considering the criminal antecedent of the petitioner of similar nature. Hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is refused. However, in the event of surrender of the petitioner, the
