JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 18-03-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 385 and 387 of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioner is not named in the first information report, but the Sim of the mobile through which the call of ransom made was recovered from possession of the petitioner. Petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent and is languishing in jail custody since 7.1.2016. Moreover, according to the prosecution case itself, nothing was paid to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.12367 of 2016 (2) dt.18-03-2016 2/2 satisfaction of C.J.M., West Champaran, Bettiah in connection with Shikarpur P.S. Case No.11 of 2016.
