Counsel for the petitioner submits with reference to Annexure-4 of the writ petition that necessary documents have already been forwarded by the Headmaster of the school in question to the District Education Officer and now the matter is pending at the level of the District Education Officer. He submits that the writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to the respondents to take final decision in the matter of promotion of the petitioner in the light of the materials forwarded by the Headmaster of the school in question. It is made clear that this court has not expressed any opinion on the merit of the claim of the petitioner. It is for the District Education Officer to look into the claim of the petitioner and decide the same on its own merit within the time frame as indicated hereinabove.
