The present writ application has been filed for a direction to the respondent authorities to make payment of retiral dues to the petitioner.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner retired from the post of AG II (Depo), F.C.I. on 31.12.2014. However, it is very fairly submitted that the retiral dues has been paid to the petitioner but the petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.4178 of 2017(2) dt.03-12-2018 2/2 further claims statutory interest on delayed payment of gratuity. Learned counsel for the F.C.I. submits that question of payment of statutory interest will be considered within a reasonable time frame.

In the circumstances, it is expected from the petitioner to submit a representation before Respondent No.4, the General Manager (Region), F.C.I. within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, whereupon it is expected from the concerned authority to dispose of the same within a period of six weeks of its submission.
