Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under sections 395 and 397 of the Indian Penal Code.

Initially, case was registered against unknown persons but in course of investigation, informant claimed that one co-accused Kanchan Rishi was indulged in the alleged crime. Subsequently, coaccused Kanchan Rishi was arrested and made his confessional statement naming the petitioner and others.

It appears that except confessional statement of co-accused Kanchan Rishi, there is nothing against the petitioner who is languishing in jail custody since 4.12.2015 and does not have any criminal antecedent.

Accordingly, petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like
