The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Kahalgaon (Ghogha) PS case no. 315 of 2020 instituted for the offences punishable under Section 395 of Indian Penal Code.

This Court, vide order dated 02.03.2022, had called for a report from the learned court below regarding the stage of the trial and the time likely to be consumed for the purposes of completion of the same. The learned court below has submitted a report dated 10.03.2022, wherein it has been mentioned that in the connected case, charges have already been framed on 22.12.2021, however, till date, not even a single witness, out of the 05 witnesses named in the charge-sheet, have been

In such view of the matter, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present petition, at the moment, however seeks liberty to renew the prayer of the bail qua the petitioner, after six months.
