Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Section-17 of the Criminal Amendment Act.

Petitioner is not named in the first information report nor it has been mentioned in the written report of the informant that the call for extortion money was made through mobile but in course of investigation, the petitioner was arrested on the ground that the call for extortion money was made through the mobile of the petitioner. The petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent and is languishing in jail custody since 02-01-2016. Accordingly, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.
