The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Rail P.S. Patna Jn. Case No. 335 of 2018, Special Case No. 8842 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding recovery of 23.4 litres of illicit liquor from the joint possession of the petitioner and one other co-accused person.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is submitted that since the petitioner has a clean antecedent and he is languishing in custody since 22.09.2018. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the

Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge (Excise), Patna in connection with Rail Patna Jn. Case No. 335 of 2018, Special Case No. 8842 of 2018.
