The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act.

The allegation against the petitioner is of having misbehaved with a lady customer in the shop and, thereafter, of having abused and assaulted the informant.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier application for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 22.6.2021 (Annexure-1) passed in Cr. Misc. No. 6695 of 2021 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4291 of 2022(2) dt.02-02-2022 2/2 prayer for bail after six months. It has been more than seven months since passing of the said order.

Heard learned APP for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the liberty granted in the aforesaid order of rejection dated 22.6.2021 and the petitioner having remained in custody for 1 year 7 months, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Angarghat P.S. Case no. 27 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Dalsinghsarai, District Samastipur.
