The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 95 of 2019, dated 14.11.2019, instituted for the offences under Sections 420, 406 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

However, because of the non-payment of additional demand of dowry, the marriage ceremony was forestalled The counsel for the petitioners has submitted that, in fact, they have incurred lot of expenses as every preparation had been made for the purposes of marriage. Later, the bride herself refused to marry the petitioner No.

1. The daughter of the informant is now married to somewhere else. It has further been submitted that the accusation levelled against the petitioners is absolutely false. Regard being had to the facts afore-stated, the petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks, are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Madhubani in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 95 of 2019, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
