The present writ application has been filed by the petitioner for the following reliefs:- (i) For issuance of writ commanding the respondent authority to make the payment of the arrear as well as current salary of the petitioner from the date of her rejoining dated 21.12.2018 along with interest from the date of its due to the actual date of payment. (ii) For issuance of writ commanding the respondent authority particularly respondent no.3 to take appropriate legal action against the responsible

Patna High Court CWJC No.2451 of 2020(3) dt.07-05-2024 2/2 authority fixing liability in not making the payment of salary of the petitioner.

(iii) For issuance of other writ, order or direction which may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

Learned counsel for the State filed a counter-affidavit in the present case and in para-9 of the counter-affidavit he has stated that petitioner has been paid her arrear as well as current salary from the date of her joining on 21.12.2018 to 31.01.2020 amounting to Rs.2,25,016/- ( Rupees Two Lacs Twenty Five Thousand Sixteen) through her account number, as is evident from letter no.725 dated 16.03.2020 issued under the signature of the District Programme Officer, (Est.), Munger received by the State Bank of India, Main Branch, Munger on 17.03.2020. 4.

Considering that the arrear as well as current salary from the date of joining of the petitioner has already been made to her, this writ application is disposed of.

However, the petitioner is at liberty to raise her grievance before the appropriate authority, if payment has not been made to her.
