The petitioners are languishing in custody since 29.11.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 387 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.
It is alleged that extortion demand of Rs.
Five lakhs was made through mobile and on non-payment firing was resorted.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the mobile has been found registered in the name
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14534 of 2015 (02) dt.28-04-2015 2/2 of one Raushan Singh and name of the petitioners sprang up during investigation. It is further submitted that no evidence has been collected during investigation against the petitioners. Considering the fact that investigation has already concluded, let the above named petitioners, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari in connection with Chakiya P.S.
